dang it man!!! Well looking back at previous semester they seemed to always get their letters during the end of the week mostly on Friday. @Flmomof5 I know of two people who have called up to the nursing dept and they were informed that letters should be out by the second week of Nov. which is next week but who knows for sure lol

I was wondering when people were going to start to calling the campus. Yea I would bet they will go out on a Friday prob next week or the following.

Well we will receive them on a Friday it takes a day and sometimes 2 days to receive mail within the same city so if they mailed them out today we wouldn't see them until tomorrow or Friday, I think we most likely will get them on the 13th....but I still get excited everytime I see the mailman lol

Okay. I did. I'm guilty! I called :D! The receptionist told me that it would take the FULL EIGHT WEEKS! (She said to expect something at the end of November, beginning of December) Not what I was wanting to hear, but what I totally expected! Having said that, last semester when I called to see when they would be mailed out she said the exact same thing (that it would take the full eight weeks) and people started getting them a few days later. Soooo, we wait!

It will be officially 8 weeks on Thanksgiving Day! I shooting for the 13th-20th I can't wait any longer than that lol

OK guys and gals,

Tomorrow starts the first day of week 6. I project that the first day people will start to receive letters in on Friday, November 13th. How's that for a Friday the 13th! LOL Anyway, the first day of the week that we started receiving acceptance letters for this past Fall was a Saturday. It was either July 18th or the 25th. The denial letters came out about the time of the date to accept your seat if you got an acceptance letter. I would have to verify the date by looking back through the Fall thread but I think it was the 25th that letters started to be received. Of course, I didn't get my denial letter until week 8 was over. So if that helps you all any then great. :)

Ok I just checked. The first letter of acceptance for the Fall was post-marked July 23rd and received on Saturday, July 25th. That was the END of week 7 of waiting. Acceptance for their seats was Friday, July 31st, the last day of week 8. My letter came Aug 1 for denial. So with that being said, I am thinking more around November 16th as the date for letters to be mailed out and start to be received on the Wednesday after, the 18th.

Good Luck to all and especially us repeat offenders! :jester:

Yea I have a feeling we are going to be waiting up until the last minute. Anyone know if you can still do payment installments for tuition then if we find out in December?

Also, do you all think that there was really only 300-400 applicants?

I paid for my classes yesterday. Very catch 22!!!

Im fortunate that I have aid/loans so I don't have to worry about paying for classes until the start of classes. However, it would be stressful if I didn't have that help and had to decide on paying for classes or wait and risk losing seats! Ugh! This is insane.

Is there anyone out there that applied to another school and got it? Im curious if anyone was accepted anywhere else and you're waiting to see if you got into FCCJ?

I think emailing acceptance/denial letters would be the quickest way! Then send letters out via snail mail! LOL

jkvanso the other two schools in Jacksonville JU and UNF only accept Summer and Fall applicants. The deadline for JU is Dec 1 and the deadline for UNF is Jan 15. If you get accepted into the program you will not have to worry about payment of classes until we actually register for the classes for the program so the normal deadlines you see for us unless you are thinking about back up plan classes does not apply. I also have financial aid so my classes are covered regardless. The first day to use book vouchers is Dec 14 so I assume that will be around the time we have our orientation. Also worksource will pay for classes, books, childcare expense etc once you get your acceptance letter! So as soon as you get call and make an appointment!!!
