FCCJ schedule

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hey folks!

I know this has been posted before, but I was hoping some more people will respond so that I get an idea of whether the 9A to Noon schedule is pretty typical (with some exceptions), or not. I realize that clinicals will be 8 or 12 hours long.

My schedule for term 1 at FCCJ:

Monday 3-5:30pm testing

Tuesday 9-12pm pharm 1-4 concepts

Wednesday 9-12 health assessment

Thursday 7-2:30 techniques ... when clinicals start it is 6:45-3:00

It seems like everyone schedule is some sort of close variation of this...

Hope it helps............

Yes, half way through the semester we start clinicals and they will be on Thursdays. They are 6:45 to 3 or 3:15 or 3:30. I can't remember.

I am term one and my schedule is as follows:

Monday

exams 3:00-5:30

Tuesday

concepts 9:00-12:00

assessment 1:00-4:30

Friday

techniques 7:00-2:30

When clinicals start they will be on Friday from 7-3 (instead of going to class). Thursday we have to go to the hospital to get our pt assignments and write care plans.

Pharm is online and quite time consuming!

I like this schedule....so you and elbay are both first semester students, but you have online pharm and he/she does not--I guess it just depends on which number you get for the lottery??

Do you guys like the online pharm class? I wanted it but it wasn't offerred in my section, wanted to be in Nassau for clinicals more.

As I prepare to head out to pharmacology right now.....

Honestly, I signed up for the online course because I wanted to have the extra day available to me to work (since online work is flexible). I quit working after the first week of classes, and I wish I had known that was going to happen because I would not have chosen to take Pharm online. Mainly because the book covers so much information and I don't feel comfortable not having a lecture. We have power points, but it still isn't the same as sitting in class for lecture. With the work load in our other classes, I also find that it easy to get behind in Pharm and extremely hard to catch up.

I don't think I could do pharm online.

Tonya- Did you get the study guide for unit 1 and drug protocol list for unit 2? If not I can send them to you...
