Hi Everyone!
I keep doing searches to get an idea...but the answers are scattered. Hopefully, this thread will help me and future applicants get an idea of what to expect.
Question:
If you have been accepted into FCCJ, how many points did you have?
Thank you. It would be really helpful.
I have two questions. 1) What did you all score on the NAT? You know, the amount of points once you use the equation raw score X .64 I got a 99.2 I do not know if that is good or not. I think I might retake it. Maybe actually study for it before I retake it. Also, someone above said they knew someone with over 300 points. Is that even possible. Isn't it 120 for grades max + 120 for NAT max plus 20 for experience max? So the most anyone could ever have is 260?
I don't have my papers with me, but I think I only had like 104pts for my grades and then after multiplying my NAT by .64, I got another 112 pts. My grades were good, but I did have 1 C and a few B's. So you do not have to have straight A's or anything, you do well enough on the NAT & it can pull you up quite a bit.
Well so far I have all A's in my prereq. classes. I only have 2 more to take and I hope to get A's in those as well. If I do, I will have 120 points for my grades. I got a 99.2 points on the NAT. Should I retake it? Is a 99.2 a bad NAT score?
If 99.2 is what you scored after multiplying by .64, and then you add the 120 pts, you would be at 219.2. Don't waste your time retaking the NAT. It's pretty safe to say you'll get in.
