FCCJ Points

Published

Hi Everyone!

I keep doing searches to get an idea...but the answers are scattered. Hopefully, this thread will help me and future applicants get an idea of what to expect.

Question:

If you have been accepted into FCCJ, how many points did you have?

Thank you. It would be really helpful.

i'm in the first semester (fall), i got in with 187 points. i haven't taken sociology yet, which reminds me... i need to sign up for the degree audit thingy! crap. i keep forgetting.

208 here. My friend, an Army medic-354!

Your points are compared to those that you applied with.

I think I will have about 117 points. Do you think I will get into FCCJ? Anyone out there who has an idea???? Am I coming close? Will I prob. get rejected? Or is my score at the top end?

I had 217 points & got into the Summer 07 class. I think the cut off was 185ish.

Are you sure its 117? Do you have all your prereqs?

No No, I am sorry, I meant 217. But really I looked again and I have 219 points. But I am going to take the NAT again. I scored in the top 90% rank but everyone else might be scoring higher. So I have no idea where I am or where I stand. Any suggestions? Yea, I have all A's in my requiste courses. I just took the NAT and I don't really know how they score it...but when I did my total points and multiplied them by .64 I had 99.2 so I figured 120+99=219 final score

Hi joyfuljoy. taking the NAT again would be a waste of your time and money. 219 = IN! :-)

It varies slightly each semester, but usually the cut-off is somewhere between 183 to 185.

JMO.

Congratulations!!

I got in with 216 pts. I heard the cutoff for this term was something in the mid 170's....anyone remember? I think that cutoff was lower than the norm, which is usually in the mid 180's.

WOW! Are you serious?!? That's pretty surprising--it hasn't been that low in (I think) a long time....plus, a lot of us on this board had over 200 (I had 217.2) which seems like it would push the cut-off even higher!

Well, I am not 100%, but someone on one of our threads posted that they got a letter stating that she did not get in b/c the cutoff was 176 and she had 170. She actually had more than 170 and had to get it straightened out with the school. But that's where I am getting my info on the cutoff.

Anyone know for sure what it was this term?

I have two questions. 1) What did you all score on the NAT? You know, the amount of points once you use the equation raw score X .64 I got a 99.2 I do not know if that is good or not. I think I might retake it. Maybe actually study for it before I retake it. Also, someone above said they knew someone with over 300 points. Is that even possible. Isn't it 120 for grades max + 120 for NAT max plus 20 for experience max? So the most anyone could ever have is 260?
