I applied at fccj it's been 6 weeks, 3 days & 2 nights, and haven't gotten results yet and sigh! Still waiting.. And getting more and more frustrated lol! I think I need to go to stress management class lol! Anyone who applied?
Not fighting or didn't even think about fighting, just voicing my concerns and experience. I was posting on a blog and that's all. Being honest regarding my experience that's all. I'm sorry that I offended you all mainly LBello, you just don't know how good it made me feel when I got the packet and then a denial letter. I should have taken it and learned..you're right but I was confused and wanted clarification of the letter. I'm sure other people will learn from my errors.
I'm done replying to someone who clearly has an anger issue or something. I'm sure she has a right to voice her concerns but I honestly don't think I should be judged by this one thing. I hope that no one else gets in trouble like me and gets kicked out of the program. I truly want to be a nurse
Good, thank you and have a blessed day from this day forward.
FYI - Anyone out there that got caught or may get caught in the future, learn from it and don't call and harass the nurisng dept b/c if you got a denial letter take it, learn from it, don't do it again and either reapply or apply some where else. B/C no means nooooooo!!!!!!!
I still have not recieved anything ;( I don't know what to think! Why would they make me wait longer then everyone else ;( I hope my packet is not lost in the mail. I have called the office over and over again and no one will answer WTH! Congrats to all of those that have got in. When do we have to confirm our seats by?
i am going to reopen this thread but i have edited several posts and removed some comments that were attacking in nature
i know things can be rough when sorting applications etc for nursing school but can we please please remember we are here to support each other and not to attack each other, that is a terms of service violation and will not be tolerated. if you feel that something posted is a terms of service violation please report the post and allow the staff to deal with it. if you do feel you have to debate something please do so in a police manner
freedom of speech?
although the constitution of the us guarantees that “congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech”, allnurses.com is not congress. freedom of speech rights do not extend to this privately owned website. the tos/guidelines of this website governs the behaviors and activities of the members. if you choose not to follow the guidelines agreed to during registration, the result is a disabling of your account.
debates
we promote the idea of lively debate. this means you are free to disagree with anyone on any type of subject matter as long as your criticism is constructive and polite.
personal attacks
our first priority is to the members that have come here because of the flame-free atmosphere we provide. there is a zero-tolerance policy here against personal attacks. we will not tolerate anyone insulting another individual's opinion nor name calling and will ban repeat offenders.
how to handle personal attacks or objectionable material
we are the largest nursing discussion forum on the internet. we are dealing with more than 420,000 members with and an average of 2,200 posts per day. when you grow to a bulletin board of this size, it becomes more difficult to moderate. presently, we have more than 20 volunteer moderators and admin staff who monitor this board periodically. they are here to help -- please feel free to contact them with any problems you may have. on the other hand, they have been instructed to enforce our zero-tolerance policy. our biggest concern here is the quality of membership not the quantity. we have no problem removing any individual who disrupts this bulletin board.
if you are ever in a position where you feel that you have been personally attacked, do not respond to that attack. please report the post by clicking the red triangle link found on each post. along with the report please submit your comments as to why you are reporting the post. the staff will be alerted and will act on the report. please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.
let the staff deal with the problem, if you respond to an attack you may find yourself in violation of our tos.
For the people that have been accepted into the fall program..what were your scores? I'm trying to figure out what the cut off was since I've been leaving messages and calling the office everyday and nobody will pick up or call me back. The letter said to call and schedule an appt to discuss with an advisor what the cut off score was but nobody will call me back! SO frustrating!

Come on guy's don't fight:chair: The thread might get shut down!
Its good that the school is looking deeper into people applying to the program so that people who are falsifying their addresses are not slipping through the crack. I hope that everyone will be honest in their applications from now on. The schools means business about that
