FCCJ Fall 09 RN

Published

Hello all! Hopefully all of you out there accepted to the Fall 2009 RN program at FCCJ will join me on this thread so we can help each other out. I went today to get my pants and found some of the white ones (come in petites and tall with flared legs and slits to fit over our shoes, Cherokee brand, $13.99) at Uniform Outlet at the St Augustine outlet mall. They also carry the pocket organizers (with flat scissors and pen light included), stethoscope (inexpensive ones, so they may not be of the quality you are looking for) and all the BP cuff things we need.

I am waiting until orientation to order my polo and uniformed top so that we may be able to try them on. Does anyone know what is included in the skills kit and if they will be available at orientation?

I am getting excited and can't wait to meet everyone!

The teacher who administered my test yesterday said that regular clothes were fine as long as they were appropriate and that students could wear flip flops if they wanted to. There is no strict dress code that we have to follow for class.

Does anyone know the Course ID for Pharmacology on Evolve? I have my access code, but it will not let me add the class without the course ID... I have read the Pharmacology syllabus several times, but I do not see it listed in the syllabus.

Thanks!! Wanda Kearson

We will be attending the Evolve training within the next few weeks and they will walk us through everything then.

Hope everyone is doing well and keeping up with the pile of reading.

I received and email from Meridy's. My stuff has been shipped and will be here next week. So If you have order stuff, check your email it should be arriving soon.

Good luck to all.

Has anyone heard about finding out our grades on Med term and Dosage Calc 2 exams?

They said we won't get those until everyone had taken and passed them. If you haven't heard anything up til now you should be good. I know of a few people that already did the retake on the dosage. I heard everyone passed the med term though.

Just wanted to let everyone know I went to Northside Medical Clinic for my titers, physical, and my tetnus shot....I was in and out very quickly and they were ALOT cheaper than solantic. I didn't know they could do everything :)
