Try to check other places as well. I was able to find a few people that were done with first semester and weren't continuing on. They were selling their scrubs and polos on craigslist locally for cheap. I dropped 1st semester before clinical due to not being able to finish because of an unexpected military move and am stuck with all of my stuff too. Congrats to all that got in. The 1st semester is a bear but if you can get through it, I heard the other semesters were a breeze.

They said we won't get those until everyone had taken and passed them. If you haven't heard anything up til now you should be good. I know of a few people that already did the retake on the dosage. I heard everyone passed the med term though.

My techniques isn't up yet but yes concepts is 1 and 8. I don't know if each instructor is the same schedule and I am in section 1. Pharm is a lot of reading chapters 1-3 and 10 & 11.

I got mine in St Augustine at the outlets. I think they were cheaper than Meridy's had them.

I think only 1 class specified about reading the weeks material before class. It definitely is a ton..assessments book is the physical examination and health assessment book by jarvis. Fundamentals of nursing by potter/perry is for concepts. All I focused on was the flash cards so far on the med term. They don't seem too bad.

I had the same problem with the ppt slides.I don't know if this is going to make sense but it worked for me. What I did was when I clicked on the file, I hit browse to choose which program to use to open the file. Then I manually chose the power point viewer for it and brought it up like I was editing it. I am not sure why it didn't work just by having it automatically open with the ppt. It made it so I can print them. I think I am ok somewhat on the med term but not sure yet on the dosing. I feel like I am forgetting something. I printed out everything needed so far for pharm, concepts and assessments so thats a plus but I think I am going to spend the entire weekend reading the 9 chapters between all 3 classes on top of the med term and dosing. So let the fun begin.. LOL

Mine also says start 11/02. I wasn't too sure why though.

The business office told me that Artemis had gone down. I tried to register and had the same issues. I had to have something taken care of at financial aid. I then went and registered with the express registration and had no problem.

Do you mind me asking how much the set of books are? I am just trying to prepare accordingly. I thought each term was different with books and that we don't know which term or classes we have until orientation.

Stat line kits I went this morning and got my kit. There were 6 (after mine) left but the lady said she had a few hidden for extras and that she will be getting more in soon. She also asked me to pass along that she will have enough for everyone and that she is waiting for more to come in. The problem was that fccj told them that we would not be getting our acceptance letters in the mail until Aug 17. I hope this helps

I left a message the other day to accept my seat. Does anyone know if I had to do it today or just by today?
