FCCJ Fall 2007 letters are out!

i got off of work and checked the mail, and whaddya know... *the* BIG envelope. i've heard from classmates who applied previously that you either get a big envelope or a regular one... so i saw the big envelope and knew i was in.

my buddy did not make the cut for this semester, he had 177. .. since got in and I had 182.96.. Im guessing the cut off must have been some where between there. Safe to say 180pts cut off mabey?

So, I think I know what happened to my letter.....someone else down the street, who has the exact same address as mine (the only difference is court vs. trail) go it because our mail carrier apparently cannot read, and the people who got my mail (I've got their's as well) aren't honest!!!! I bet anything they have it, and have probably already thrown it out! I'm dying to know what's in the packet!!! I'm going to call the school tomorrow and see if they can tell me something. I feel pretty good since my points were pretty good, but I just want my letter, and I want to know what it all says!!!! :(

Sorry for my rant, but I'm just so upset right now!!!:angryfire

Go talk to your neighbors ( as evil as they may be :devil:) and see for sure if they have seen it or not. If not call the school and see what they have to say.

Yeah, I looked up their phone number in the phone book, and left a really nice message for them (even though I totally wanted to be nasty about it!)

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they still have it. If I don't hear back from them by the time I finish dinner, I'm going to go to their house!

omg i'd be so pissed if that happened to me! you should totally ***** out the mail man. take down their name and file a complaint!

Ok, so here's the update on the whole mail thing.....I got a call from the son in the other house. He sounds older (maybe early 20's), so he's not a kid. He was very polite and I explained the situation. He told me that he would look and see if he found anything with my name or my fiance's name on it, and said he'd call back. Well, I waited for about 30 minutes and he still hadn't called back, so I walked over there. I knew they were home...there were tow cars in the drive, and he had just called. I rang the doorbell twice, and no one answered, so I walked back home. As soon as I got home, the kid called, and told me he didn't find anything. As wrong as this may sound....I don't beleive him. If I'm getting so much of their mail, then they MUST be getting mine (which is why I haven't gotten my letter, and why they previously opened a package of mine that was delivered to their house, and why I haven't gotten a couple of my bills before, causing me to make a few late payments!!!) I'm just hoping the school will tell me whether or not I'm in when I call them tomorrow, and that they can re-send whatever they sent. I actually think I'll tell them I'll come pick it up!!! But, let me say this....the post office is going to get an earful!!! I'm livid!!!

:bluecry1:So, I called the school today, and they said they couldn't do anything until Friday! They have to give the mail one week. I explained my situation, and their response was, "call back on Friday if you still haven't gotten anything. We then have our processes". Processes???? What in the world does that mean? So, here I am...just sitting here wondering if I got accepted....this totally sucks!!!

How upsetting of a response is that!!..FCCJ is proving to be more of a pain as time goes on with their processes... as much as they have screwed me over (( especially in the fin-aid dept.)) I still dont have much of a choice but to come back. BE STRONG! CALL AND PESTER THEM 8 AM FRIDAY MORNING! ::still have the fingers crossed::

Oh, I am planning on going to the north campus Friday morning, which really pisses me off because now I have to take a day off work for it! And now I'm even more worried, because I heard from someone else who got accepted that we have to either accept or decline your sport by Friday! How can I do that when I don't even know if I'm in or not?!?! FCCJ is pissing me off (and they screwed me on the financial aid too), but I don't have any other options for nursing school. Oh well. I will keep you all updated.:uhoh3:
