Favorite Dr or Nurse Name

I've been having to hold my side while reading the "weirdest name you've heard a patient name her baby" thread.

It got me to thinking that I know lots of interesting dr and nurse names in my area.

We have the surgeon Dr. Butcher

OB/GYN Dr Box

Derm Dr Rash

and my favorite

Urologist Dr. Littlejohn

She's Vietnamese and her 1st name is Herman....

AS for nurses, we have Nurse Take, so she got the nickname MissTake:)

A few years ago there was a doctor at our hospital that alot of girls thought was a real hottie, George Clooney type. I don't remember the spelling but his first and last name were pronounced deep tongue, or tongue deep. :coollook:

Other names I have seen:

Dr. Toothacher

Dr Disney

Dr Hamburger

Dr Kreter (prounced Crater)

And of course the urologist Dr Dick

My other favorite is when you have a doctor with a crazy spelling and they want it pronounced totally different from spelling, like dr Kyiang (she prounounces it "jeng). Its fun to hear her name overhead paged, it sounds more like Ky-Yang or Kee-yang. Or the doctor named Min Zang...the operator says in her best formal operater voice "Mean Zong), it just sound funny to me. :lol2:

I new a lady named Dorothy Comm, and yes she went by the nickname "Dot". She said when the web first became popular she was asked to go on a talk show or do a commercial related to computers and her name. She regretted it later when the world wide web really went crazy. :]
