YES!!! I have one and love it.......It's amazing to say the least :) If your going to get a pad/tablet definately opt for the Apple...

When you pray,it should come from the heart, not from a memorized script someonelse wrote.... As for praying with someone who does not share faiths.....My luck!! You could always just pray your own heartfelt prayer, and if it doesn't connect with their beliefs, then ask them to lead in prayer. I just close my eyes while they are praying and ask GOd to heal them and get them thru this tough time...In the end, we're both happy:)

I'm a volunteer CNA at a retirement home and apparently we have a love triangle here (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAMES) are some of the sweetest people here....Each of them have strong personalities. It was after their dinner, and it was time for BINGO!!!!! So (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAMES) sit down at a table and in five minutes, Bingo chips were flying everywhere! (MODERATOR EDIT) was holding (MODERATOR EDIT) hand and (MODERATOR EDIT) was throwing everything at them. I intervened as soon as I could weave my way through the wheelchair maze. "What's going on here?" I asked. (MODERATOR EDIT) were still holding hands, and (MODERATOR EDIT) held a Bingo board in mid-air, "She's holding hands with MY HUSBAND!!!" (MODERATOR EDIT) huffed. Knowing that neither of them had ever met one another, (and that (MODERATOR EDIT) husband would bring her chocolate and flowers every week after he got off at the steel plant) I could only smile, "(MODERATOR EDIT), may you please let go of (MODERATOR EDIT) hand?" (MODERATOR EDIT) reluctantly folded her hands on her lap and stuck her tongue out. I left and a few minutes later they were at it again, but now Karl and Bluie were HUGGING and Verdie was pulling Bluie's hair. I had no choice but to kindly escort them to their rooms. The wing was the closest, So I handed Karl and Bluie off to another nurse. Just as the doors closed, Bluie glared at Verdie through the glass door, threw her arms around Karl's neck and took him in a lip-lock. Of course I sympathsied the whole event, because all of them had spouses that visited them...but I couldn't help but bubble over to the other nurses. We got a good laugh:) John 3:16

LOL, I can totally relate. I'm 17, in nursing school and @times it IS stressful, w/ school, my job, and college....I admit...I DID CRY when I took a look at my schedule for the next month....But I'm so exctied to be a nurse and make my dreams come true, that I'm waaaaay too driven to just quit. So no, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT QUIT....unless you feel like nursing isn't for you...:) Just hang in there...eventually...someday..we'll have our nursing degrees:) Are you looking for CNA, LPN, RN?????

If you're looking for a good, well-paying job....MT is not the state:( Trust me.... It's good for a nice skiing trip tho:) As for Colorado hospitals, I've heard Denver is pretty decent!! You could also try Aspen?!?!?!?! One thing before you do anything, make sure you have a strong nursing union in CO!!.

Wow! Great suggestions! Like everyone said, You'll get used to it....I did:) it does take awhile tho...I just thought of something else during "the procedure" like, "Gee, at least I'm NOT dealing with puke!" LOL :)

Agreed, however some of us CNAs do work and love it!! Like me:) So sad that the majority of CNAs that have bad attitudes, as you described, taint the image of ALL CNAs:( Thx 4clarifying!!! John 3:16

Worthless CNA? I am a CNA and will disagree with that. We may do laundry, change Depends, bathe ppl who can't do it themselves, but far from worthless. No matter how thin you slice bread there's always two sides:) My nurse manager is actually quite nice. What makes her nice? She takes time out to connect w/ pts and nurses, and makes us feel like a gagillion bucks. She follows thru w/ what she says and is very POSITIVE!!!! Great post OP!!! John 3:16
