FAU NP Program 2017

I have been on this site and I haven't seen any new postings in regards to this FAU 2017 NP program so I decided to start one. Has anyone applied to the program? If so, have you received a interview invitation?

Good luck on your interview!

Had my interview. Didn't feel the best about it. I did ask about the curriculum and she said that the first year was all online and 2&3 year was all day every Thursday consistently. She also said most people don't work full time after the first semester and those who try often fail. It's a little scary hearing that I won't lie. I also thought this program was 2 years?? I was accepted to another school that seems to do very well with working RNs so if I do get accepted to FAU I will have to weigh my options heavily.

I had my interview today. I felt great about it, and the person who interviewed me was very friendly. I hope to hear back from them by next month. Good luck everyone!

I submitted my application a couple of days before the deadline and I haven't heard anything :( Haven't received an email for an interview or anything.I know they get a bunch of applications, I wonder if they check all of them or if they just select a few?

Hope you hear back from them soon!

Hi! I graduated from FAU with my bachelors and have applied to the BSN-DNP program. Many of my friends work full time and are already in this program and are doing fine!

I applied for the MSN FNP program at the Harbor Branch Campus. My interview was 3/10 and I have yet to hear back. One of my co-workers had interviewed in Boca for their BSN to DNP program the last week of February, and heard back 4 days later. The wait is so frustrating!!

You should email them! Did all of your information go through on the CAS system?

I have a BSN from FAU, and have been a labor and delivery nurse for 4 1/2 years. My GPA was not a 3.0 because of my stupidity as a teenager, but I scored well on the MAT test. I applied for the FNP program at the Boca campus. I've been calling to try and get info, but today I spoke to the program coordinator and she said she hasn't gotten a request for an interview for me. I've heard from others that if you get an interview, you'll definitely get in. So, I'm guessing I didn't get accepted. Anyone know of other good programs?

Hello Everyone,

I heard from FAU today.

I have been "conditionally accepted" into the FNP program/ Boca Raton campus. I am both excited and nervous!!!. Next step is to get my background check completed.

Anybody else!?! :)

Hey! I also got "conditionally admitted." Not sure what that means yet... is it just about the background check?
