It wasn’t bad at all, but you have to be organized especially if you plan to work: I worked full time while being in the program. I did weekends only. First year is a lot of writing papers and discussion and second year it’s busy work because you do clinicals!... When you start clinicals buy either Hollier or Barkley and listen to it as much as you can! It will help you for the test and for clinical. In doing so you are also studying for boards!.

I think they offer only a post- masters for mental healthNP.

Hello Eveyone... Most of you have already started the program .. congrats!. I got accepted into FAU/FNP program and will start this fall. I want to get some feedback/suggestions about the program. How are the instructors? Classes? Exams? Etc... Is it possible to work and do school? What would be your best advice to be successful? Anyone selling their books?... Hello Everyone, I heard from FAU today. I have been "conditionally accepted" into the FNP program/ Boca Raton campus. I am both excited and nervous!!!. Next step is to get my background check completed. Anybody else!?! :)

I dont see how we can start the background check if we do not have an FAU email. I think we need to get accepted first, but that's just my guess.

Hi Everyone.. I had an interview yesterday for FNP ( masters). I was super nervous, but they made me feel comfortable. They asked me ---Why do you want to be an NP? Major weakness? Career goals... They also asked me about the philosophy of my old school (PBSC).. wow!! I really did not know this one! I had to be honest and tell them I did not know, but that i was sure it was focused on the aspect of Caring. They also asked me about trends in nursing.. ( Geez!!nothing was flowing in my brain at this time.. I was letting my nerves get the best of me..). So I took a deep breath and collected myself!, Then I just started talking. I made sure I told them I was nervous because this meant so much to me! ( both ladies smiled and said "that's ok.. Everyone gets like this."..)... I left the interview with mix feelings. I think I could have done a little better, but I gave it my best. and that's what counts! I am praying and staying positive. The best advice I can give you: Be on time and be yourself!! You can do this! Don't try too hard because they will know. They just want to get a sense of who you are and how committed you are to your education as well as the nursing profession Best of luck to everyone...

I am so confused... I Though we were getting tested on all 10 sections for hesi 2a at palm beach state college. Can someone make this clear for me. Are we only getting tested on math, reading comp, d and vocab? what areas should i focus more when studying for this test...

does anyone know where i can take the hesi 2a with all the ten sections. i want to apply in october at palm beach state college. unfortunately, they do not have any spots left for the test... please help!
