FAU FNP class August 2018

Published

Hi! I wanted to create a space for any applicants to FAUs FNP or AGNP program beginning in August 2018 to post updates :)

Hi everyone,

I'm a little late to the conversation. I was accepted to the MSN FNP program at the Boca campus. I'm hoping to get in touch with some others that will be attending as well. I did not receive a specific email regarding castle branch, I had to email the coordinator Cathleen who sent an email with links for all the requirements. Other than that email and the official acceptance email, I have not received any other information from the college of nursing. I did receive a generic packet of information from the graduate college via regular mail. Hope this helps.

Hi Mary, I did receive a course list via email but do you know if they're going to have online books or if they're going to release the numbers for the textbooks that are required

Would you mind posting the course list? I emailed to get one but received no response

It will not allow me to post the screen shot of the schedule. It also will not allow me to pm ( apparently I'm not active enough) any suggestions

Google drive and share the link?

Has anyone received any instructions about the background check?? I did register for classes online already.

Jyuen1226 did you finish the whole Castle Branch paperwork? Also, what classes are you registered for? Is it for Summer or Fall? Let me know if you don't mind!

If found that this admission process to lack any guidance and direction. I started the Castle branch but not done. One email mentioned someone will contact us regarding the background check process, till now have not gotten anything. So, how exactly to go with all this? Does anyone know anyone in the program already? Any insight? I have emailed and call, but no response so far!

How were you able to know which classes to register for?

Yes heard they lost a few instructors and it's been crazy I guess they made them take some online classes second year d/t no-one to teach classroom

I can post the class schedule I only have it because I emailed one of the admitting admins I can post it when I get to my home computer. I hope this gets more organized

(It still says approval required before registering when I attempt to register) but here is the curriculum
