FAU BSN 2013-Traditional or Accelerated

Anyone out there that is applying to start the FAU Nursing program in May 2013? I have submitted my application for the accelerated program. It is the only program I am applying for so I am really hoping to receive an acceptance letter! I realize it will be quite some time until we know either way and thought we could get some conversation going among applicants.

It's a good possibility that the traditional letters did not go out yet so don't lose hope and make sure to check that spam folder! The orientation is in April and classes start in May for the accelerated program.

I was kinda disappointed when I didn't receive an email. But hopefully they just sent the accelerated emails today and the traditional one's are still coming. fingers crossed. I have a 4.0 but my teas was in the 80's :/.

Do we also get an email if we don't get in?

And I believe we get an email of a decision, whether it's an acceptance or a denial. So at least we'll have peace of mind and know

I applied for the traditional program as well....you have great grades so stay positive! :)..besides we dont know how the system works..maybe only half of the emails went out today? who knows! :) Im keeping my fingers crossed for those of you who didnt get an email yet!...

I hope you are right about the decision of denial or acceptance. I applied for the accelerated program and still have not received a notice. It's painful. Lol. :arghh:

Seeing as spring break is next week, I know the decision is coming forth. If what you say is true, I know they didn't mass email to all the accelerated applications because I didn't hear a decision yet, either way. Sounds like the credentials on this board are better than mine. Maybe they are emailing the applicants as they work down the bell curve of applications.

Either way, I got pulled from the Duke accelerated waiting-list. I have an interview with them on Friday, I'm suppose to be snowboarding with my best friends in Breckenridge Colorado next Wednesday on a cross country road trip.

Needless to say " I'm freaking out, man." :woot::woot::banghead::banghead:

Any one get an email other than those initial acceptances... Waitlist, denials, anything? This no contact is killing me.
