I haven't seen a thread directed at applicants for this application cycle, so I figured I'd start one! Just one month left until applications open. Who's ready? :) I figure we can meet here to discuss any questions or issues with applications, provide support and feedback to fellow applicants, as well as introduce ourselves as potential future classmates! Communication is, after all, critical for all nurses.
I actually have a question to start us off. The pre-requisites listed for the program mention "College Algebra or equivalent" for science GPA calculations. In my case, I took a few more advanced mathematics courses for my degree, and I have a better grade in Calculus than I do in College Algebra. I can only chalk it up to it being my first semester in college. Does anyone know if they will count my Calc grade instead? It means the difference between a 3.8 and 3.9 for my science GPA.
I haven't received anything, so I assume like most of us that this means a no. I wonder when the rejection letters are sent. It would have been fair to receive them at the same time with the acceptance ones to spare us heartaches that we have already experienced a lot lately. Hopefully by the end of the day today we will know our fate with FAU. For those who got accepted they need to prepare some paperwork as I understand. Good luck everybody! You are awesome!
I don't understand the repeat course at state college vs state university? I haven't read that anyplace. Can someone send me a link explaining that? I would like to see what that means.

Congratulations to everyone that received an invitation so far! I'm truly happy for you guys, as I'm sure you definitely worked hard for it to get to this point! The interviews start at 1pm and end at 5pm, so I'm hoping that they're just sending out the invites in order of appointment time... Hanging onto that theory tightly right now!
