FAST NCLEX RESULTS

I wanted to put it out there that I was able to get quick results without paying for it. i know that pearson vue offers quick results 48hrs after your exam but I couldn't wait that long (I know I'm not the only one who feels that way lol). So what I did was call my state licensing board and talk directly to the licensing supervisor in charge of my application. I did this about 25hrs after my exam to make sure that there was plenty of time for pearsonvue to complete the grading of my test and transmit my results to the state board. The licensing supervisor immediately confirmed that they had received my results and she was also able and willing to provide me with the status of those results.
I know that some people try the PVT trick to see if they passed or not, but it is highly debatable whether or not this is accurate, so try calling (or emailing) the state board instead...

I've read other people's stories of trying to do this and finding out that the BON doesn't want to get swamped with anxiety-ridden applicants so they won't take those calls. Automated system will tell them to do QR if available or wait for the results to be mailed. People working at the nursing boards are usually swamped with applications at certain times of the year and some states are so backed up you can forget about getting through to a human being ever, let alone finding one willing to discuss your test results with you lol!

Some states will update their websites as soon as a license is issued, so checking on the BON website might be faster than QR in some cases or faster than waiting for snail mail in others. But I wouldn't hold out much hope of getting a live person to stop processing someone's application so she can talk to you about yours. It was nice that it happened for you though :)

I can't speak for other states, but the Colorado BON and specifically the Licensing supervisor for my application has been great at responding to my emails within the same day and if she didn't answer her phone she called me back within 48hrs. I say its worth a shot if anyone who is anxious like I was about their NCLEX status to make a few phone calls or send out an email.
