So I have an associates in Food & Nutrition and I basically have all the pre reqs for the nursing program at Farmingdale, all I need is Medical Micro. I have a 3.7 gpa but my grades in anatomy & physiology are in the C's and I know that to be considered a competitive applicant you should get B's in those courses but I don't have those grades. Is there anyone that went or is currently in the program who received lower than C's in the class? I am thinking that maybe there is a way to get into the program since my overall gpa is 3.7 and they can see that I am committed since I have my associates. Idk.. please explain your experience. :|

It's on LI, NY. Competitive SUNY school.
Maybe this can be moved to a New York forum, more people may respond, yes?
It's Farmingdale state college on Long Island, NY.
How do I move it to the NY forum? Sorry
Becca, ask the mods to move this to the NY forum, you will probably get a better response there. I love on LI, and I know Farmingdale's rep has grown tremendously- great bang for your buck. Best of luck to you.
I will report your OP and the mods will read it and see you want it moved.
