Farmingdale State College Spring 2022 Nursing Program

Hi guys, I am currently a student at Farmingdale under the STS major. I plan on applying for the Advanced Standing Nursing Program in Spring 2021. I have not seen a thread for Spring 2021 so thought I would make one. Everyone can write their stats, TEAS scores, GPA, questions, and any concerns about the program on here. Hopefully this helps everyone out!

You can also check your portal. If it has anything about a deposit then that means you were accepted!

I wish the same was true for farmingdale because I can leave a deposit for Spring in the ram portal. LOL

Girl that means you got in I believe. If you have to pay a deposit in the Ram portal that means your in I’m pretty sure.

I was waitlisted for Adelphi and I have a 4.0 GPA. I wonder what they go by?! I didn't provide any letters of recommendation or essay because I only applied as a backup to farmingdale. Now I wish I would have because I am nervous I won't get in.

It's crazy, but we have to remember a lot if people have 4.0s this time around due to classes being remote, tests not all requiring lockdown browsers etc. I feel a lot is based on TEAS this time around. No way to cheat thru that exam.

I got an 86 on the TEAS. I know people who got in with less. I'm thinking most spots filled early and they are being extremely selective with the rest. Also I did not write an essay or recommendation letters because I just wanted it as a back up.

And believe it or not, I know someone who cheated on the TEAS. It's really terrible because it makes those of us really doing good not stand out amongst the rest.

Hey I don't mean to be rude but if you know someone that applied after cheating either at Farmingdale or Adelphi you should really let someone know. These are our future careers and we all worked hard. Only the people who actually worked hard should get a chance, this is very unfair to the deserving students. So if you can please let someone of authority know even if its anonymously.

Oh I totally agree. I had to let my past professor know for A&P 2 because it is not right nor fair. I don't know her personally or where she applied or if she was even able to apply. But she shared how she was cheating on respondus and how she cheated on the TEAS on a group me chat. It's very frustrating.

Yeah you should like email the nursing department with her name just in case. Do you go Farmingdale already because it will be easier to find her. Just do it anonymously so no one has to know it was you.

I don't go to farmingdale. I did my part letting the professor know. I'm sure she is not the only one. It is disheartening but I believe in Karma. I do my best and I'm sure it will pay off, and eventually it will catch up to those who cheat.

We had someone trying to sell TEAS answers for 250$ in my school. Insane. I believe they got kicked out of school because it was in a group chat also. Wonder if it was the same person.
