Farmingdale Spring 2020

Published

Hi everyone!

I am applying to the Advanced Standing Nursing Program at Farmingdale for Spring 2020. Just wanted to see if there is anyone else out there applying. If you would like to share your grades, feel free! Good luck to everyone! ??‍⚕️

Prerequisite GPA: 4.0

GPA: 3.67

TEAS: 82.7

@victoria249 My application says the same thing as yours- I believe all the acceptances went out yesterday. I just thought we would at least know for sure even if we were denied or wait-listed...

@WuTangLan
did you access blackboard from the farmingdale website?

Yes, I am a full-time student at Farmingdale, so I already have access to Blackboard. I apologize you may not have access yet.

For anyone whose decision wasn't changed on Oasis yet please check again.ime changed to decision made application accepted!

Any one elses still say complete ready for review?

Hey everyone. I got in also so excited I hear Farmingdale has an amazing program

is anyone familiar with how their wait list process goes?

I received my acceptance today !! Does anyone know how many people they accept? Also, any other information about the program?! Class sizes, clinicals, etc.

Does anyone know what happens if you’re waitlisted??

I believe someone mentioned in this thread that if you're waitlisted, they don't tell you what number on the list you are and it is a waiting game- I definitely would call admissions to ask though!

They accept 50 people. I was looking at the classes in registration. It looks like Clinical&Theoretical Foundation and Health Assessment lecture is 25 per class but the labs, simulations and clinicals are 7- 8 a class.

Congrats everyone!! Welcome to the family!!! If I remember correctly you’ll get an official acceptance packet soon and there will be an informative meeting in December going over everything! That’s when you register for classes and they answer all of your questions. So happy for you all!! See you around ?

So i had a question, when we go for orientation is it basically a or b schedule or we can pick our classes? and as for the clinical sites, do they have to match up with the lab and lecture meaning if i pick plainview to register for, do my lecture and lab and stimulation have to match with plainview or can i choose a different hospital?
