Anybody applying to FAMU's nursing program for the spring?
I decided as a reapplicant to just do what they requested I figure you can look at it two ways ... Either go over and beyond and they be appreciative or go over and beyond and they think you can't follow directions ... I know I just did my physical and etc in April so I only did what was asked: application, passport, transcripts, and new essay. And when I say luck of the draw I mean that yes there is a selection process but you aren't going to be able to tell how that process impacts the whole because you will see a wide variation... You just have to realize and be comfortable in knowing that though this may be your option it's not the only option and don't let it deter you from the ultimate goal ... So I stand by my previously aforementioned statement with it being the luck of the draw and hopefully this drawing is more favorable than the last or maybe even a low amount of applications will play a part either way I'm optimistic but I have a plan regardless as should all others
Hi everybody.
I am currently a pre nursing student at on of the community colleges in Chicago. I am taking Bio 121 and Chemistry 121. I have difficulties in Biology since my English is weak( I have taken ESL100, and I have one more ESL to take), and my grades are not so well. So, my question is when I will apply for nursing program, do I have to have high grades?

Hey everyone !! Good luck on applying, hope you all get in
I was admitted in FAMU SON in fall, be prepared to spend money upon being accepted, and enjoy your free time now because once you get started you'll wish you had more free time. It's a lot of work so make sure you work on time management skills! Also it's not the "luck of the draw" that gets you into the program. Your gpa is not the most important factor but it is considered, how well you do on your interview is important and also if you have some experience in the field that helps too. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask me :)
