Famu Nursing School Spring 2014

Published

Has anyone already began submitting their applications to Famu nursing program for the spring of 2014? Im about to submit mines. Any pointers? I stay n Miami Fl standing at a 3.5 GPA. Where can i access everything I need. If possible send me a link.

does anybody know when our official first day of class is?

The first day of class is that Monday jan. 6th

How do we register for the classes? They didn't really address registration in the email.

In the email it says to print out the curriculum and bring it to the orientation on the 3rd I think they will help us register

i thought that too but it says in email that the second orientation is also on 6th. Do we have to attend both the orientation of jan 3 and 6th?

I was wondering the same. It wasn't specific. Just gave two dates.

Yes it says that it is mandatory to attend both orientations!

Yes we have to go to both orientations and make sure you do the Leon county background check before hand along with all the other paperwork. Also when it goes for registering for classes we have to wait til orientation you can't register for classes without the staff, I was told from someone in the program. So good luck for everyone that needs to find housing and see you guys soon!

so jan 6 is orientation and first day of class too. Also I already have like 3 cpr certifications,so do I have to get another one from them?

just want to make sure so both the orientation starts at 9 am rite? the background check have to be done before the orientation too rite? Also i am a transfer student so do I have to attend the transfer orientation too?

I know the nursing school is really strict on dates about when physicals and certification expire. But I'm not sure if you will or will not have to get another certification for CPR. Also both orientation do start at nine and the background checks have to be done before hand. Now the transfer orientation I'm not sure if you have to attend or not I'm sure she would have had information on it if you had to attend theirs as well but I would call ahead to get clafication.

Just curious....is this a RB/BSN program? or BSN entry?
