Has anyone already began submitting their applications to Famu nursing program for the spring of 2014? Im about to submit mines. Any pointers? I stay n Miami Fl standing at a 3.5 GPA. Where can i access everything I need. If possible send me a link.

I'm gonna wait to buy mines until after orientation. Hopefully they'll be able to conform which ones we really need. I've seen some posts on here saying that their program made them buy their books for the whole program at the beginning so maybe that what they're doing.

Hey Guys! I have mu interview next monday which is the same day as the transfer student orientation. Do you know if that orientation is mandatory?

Hello Ms. Bronze 1. I am currently a 2nd semester professional nursing student at FAMU. To answer your questions the application process was very overwhelming just because something's were not as clear as they could have been. The process consists of two parts. The first application process is kinda like your pre-application. That is where they want to see all the require immunizations, essay, GPA (transcript), passport photo and some other things. Post-application is if you get accepted into the program they will give you a list of things to do before class starts. And yes you do need to write an essay but they will give you the essay prompt. Yes if you are selected for the 2nd phase of the application process you will have to go through an interview. Unfortunately, I am from Tallahassee so I do not know about housing. My GPA coming in was 3.8. Expect to pay close to 3,000 for first semester in nursing school excluding books and other nursing fees. Hope that helps!!!! :) Good Luck
