Hello Everyone! Happy New Yearrrr
They will call everybody on August 6th. Tomorrow for sure. Last semester when I applied that is what they did and everyone received their call from mrs Tellis on December 19th. Grades had to be turned in on December 18th (the day before). Everyone who didn't receive their call on the decision date which was the 19th of Dec received an email and I was one of those who received the rejection email because my school did not release my grades until December 21st 2013 . They started calling folks at 9:00 am on Dec 19th And they sent the unfortunate emails by 12:00 noon on decision day. Everyone gets their calls first then they send out the emails. They call you and ask you if you still are interested in the nursing program at their school because you have been accepted and if you give a yes or no determines how many more seats they will have. Then they call the next candidate. That's what I was told by a student who received her call.

That's how it was last year. And everyone either got a call or email by 12:00pm on decision date. But you never know it can change. It is a possibility that people call and tell them they are no longer interested then they call you after you recieve the email to offer you a seat. I heard it has happened in the past but not last year.
If you didn't get the email then you're safe!! You will receive one or the other. The email means they didn't consider you period. This is the rejection email I had received.

Dear Applicant:
Thank you for your application to the professional level of the Florida A&M University, School of Nursing for Spring 2014. The process was very competitive and, unfortunately, we are unable to admit you to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) level at this time.
As you may be aware, the professional level of the BSN is a limited access program. As such, we are unable to accept every qualified applicant. While you met all the requirements, we are not able to accept you at this time.
We do not have a wait list. Should you reapply, we look forward to reviewing your application for Fall 2014.
Thank you for applying to Florida A&M University School of Nursing. We wish you every success in achieving your goals!
Sincerely,
Ruena Norman

I'm thinking they'll try to call everyone tomorrow because they should have all of the information to review in by today. Then again if they're not gonna make all of the actual final decisions until tomorrow it might take a couple days to make calls. Idk. I just know I'm way too anxious right now lol... 1 more day!
