  1. Shante!! I'm ready to start this application process once again!
  2. Yeah me neither no fret guys. Tomorrow we will know for sure for those of us who did not receive a call. No worries. Have faith.
  3. I don't get it. They are behind. I guess we should be getting calls tomorrow. I called school of nursing and the receptionist said calls were not made yet and asked if there is a possibility that they will still be calling folks today and all the info she gave me was wait and see. I don't know if they close at 4pm or 5pm but which ever one it is doesn't give them enough time to call and give information and send emails to everyone. So I'm just going to assume that they will be a day late and begin calling tomorrow on the 7th of August.
  4. I'm sorry I didn't get any C's on my final grade. But in my overall transcript I meant. Final grades were A's
  5. 3.5 gpa I was working two jobs, have two kids and managed to go to school full time. I have 2 C's which are not in sciences, it's math. No call yet.
  6. It's saying my last post was at 3:06pm when it's really 11:06am.
  7. The time on here is wrong as you can see. We're in eastern time. They started calling last year at 9:00am not 3:30. Every year is different. This year they are starting later as you can see. It's 11:00am and still no calls. By 12:00 noon last year the emails were sent out if you didn't receive a call.
  8. Goooodmorning guys!!! Today is the day Lol
  9. You're welcome anytime. Everyone let us know tomorrow morning if you receive that call or not. I pray that we all get in. Good luck guys. God is with us!! Pray pray pray and your prayer will be answered.
  10. And they do not give you a reason why you weren't accepted.
  11. If you didn't get the email then you're safe!! You will receive one or the other. The email means they didn't consider you period. This is the rejection email I had received. December 19th 2013 Dear Applicant: Thank you for your application to the professional level of the Florida A&M University, School of Nursing for Spring 2014. The process was very competitive and, unfortunately, we are unable to admit you to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) level at this time. As you may be aware, the professional level of the BSN is a limited access program. As such, we are unable to accept every qualified applicant. While you met all the requirements, we are not able to accept you at this time. We do not have a wait list. Should you reapply, we look forward to reviewing your application for Fall 2014. Thank you for applying to Florida A&M University School of Nursing. We wish you every success in achieving your goals! Sincerely, Ruena Norman
  12. That's how it was last year. And everyone either got a call or email by 12:00pm on decision date. But you never know it can change. It is a possibility that people call and tell them they are no longer interested then they call you after you recieve the email to offer you a seat. I heard it has happened in the past but not last year.
  13. They will call everybody on August 6th. Tomorrow for sure. Last semester when I applied that is what they did and everyone received their call from mrs Tellis on December 19th. Grades had to be turned in on December 18th (the day before). Everyone who didn't receive their call on the decision date which was the 19th of Dec received an email and I was one of those who received the rejection email because my school did not release my grades until December 21st 2013 . They started calling folks at 9:00 am on Dec 19th And they sent the unfortunate emails by 12:00 noon on decision day. Everyone gets their calls first then they send out the emails. They call you and ask you if you still are interested in the nursing program at their school because you have been accepted and if you give a yes or no determines how many more seats they will have. Then they call the next candidate. That's what I was told by a student who received her call.
