Anyone applying to FAMU's school of nursing for the fall 2013 semester right now?

I think my interview went really well too! I'm hoping they liked me. I'm so nervous!

Less than 2 weeks now..I'm obsessively checking my phone every day hoping they'll call early lol

Do any of you know if the meningitis vaccine is mandatory or optional? I haven't had it, but my original pre-nursing acceptance letter said it was necessary. I didn't see it on the nursing application though.. Anyways, I have an appt this Thursday, and figured I'll get that vaccine if it's a requirement.

I didn't see that and when I went to get my vaccines at the famu clinic it was never mentioned and they knew I was nursing. The only one I saw that said don't apply unless you've had this was hepatitis.

When I first came to famu you only HAD to get the meningitis vaccine if you we're going to live on campus

It is optional, you just need to sign a form stating you know the risks and you still refused the vaccine.
