I just applied today!! I dropped off my application in person :) I'm really hoping I get in because I didn't get in to FSU and this is the only other local BSN. So far, my experience with dealing with the nursing admissions office has not been good- they've all been pretty rude about questions I had along the way- but I'm sure the instructors will be more helpful!! Does anyone know the average stats for accepted students??

Hey guys!

I'm turning in my application Monday! I went to the general university orientation and got to ask the nursing guidance counselor a bunch of questions, she was super helpful and made me excited. Only thing I'm worried about is how late they send out acceptances. I graduate Aug. 3rd and would like to know if I need to move back home or not. The counselor said we may not know by then! Hopefully we can all communicate on when calls, times for interviews and emails are being made:)

I got my formal email today saying they have accepted my application. Now I can only pray I get an interview. Good luck to everyone.

I turned mine in person too. I'm in Tallahassee also!

My husband goes to pharmacy school at FAMU and I did my pre requisites there so I'm really hoping they accept me. I'm praying my 3.5 will be good enough but I've met people who have gotten in with much lower..I've met two people with 2.7's that got in. I really think the personal statement and your overall character weighs heavily. FAM can get a little disorganized but I've really loved my past three years here. Instructors are really helpful, really haven't had one in undergrad who wasn't helpful.
