FAMU Fall 2013 applicants??

Anyone applying to FAMU's school of nursing for the fall 2013 semester right now?

Mine just says I have no pending applications though not denied or anything. Hmmm. Did you do your pre reqs at fam?

No I did my pre-reqs at TCC.. yesterday I found that section for the first time. So, I immediately called FAMU nursing and they told me it was a question for admissions. The ladies in nursing apparently aren't allowed to discuss anything about the application process- I'm gunna try to find out more today.

Okay, just got off the phone and iRattler is misleading. The woman in nursing that I spoke with told me admission decisions will be made in early August- just like our confirmation letter read. I just wish everyone at FAMU could get on the same page. Not to mention, when I do call with questions, everyone is always so rude and short- @jencampo, have you had a similar experience with them so far? I'm taking sociology this summer just to qualify for this program but my interaction with their staff is really discouraging me about the school.

Soon I hope..when I called and asked they said they couldn't give me a specific time line

Nothing new called this week and they said "they're still going through them"..I got into TCC too!! I think I'm gonna decline it though even if I don't get into fam, then try for BSN again. I've been at this too long to go back to community college, although its a great opportunity.

Thanks! I hope they call next week! Since they make the final decision on August 9 which is the beginning of the month of August, you would think they need all or most of July to give us notice of interviews and then conduct interviews. I'm betting either next week or the first week of July we get the calls!
