Well i will be in this class for the summer session, i am hoping this experiencve wil be a positive one.
My luck in group projects generally has been atrocious. My only group activity with OU was a disaster. There were only two of us who posted on time and the TA eventually disbanded the group and put me and the other person who was actually interested in getting a decent grade, in another group. Unfortunately, the right changes weren't done in EPIC and it was nearly a week before things got corrected. We had to communicate via Catmail for several days.Praying for a good group of people. I had luck in the past!
Hopefully, things will be different in this class, especially considering how important the course is (our professor believes this is the most important subject ever in the history of nursing and who am I to argue?)
Hard to enjoy, I'm taking Stats... I'm buried in books and my caluclator seems to want to fuse into the skin of my hand.... It's like it has become a permanent part of me.It's the only way I can make it through....
Ugh - I know the feeling- When I took calculus light years ago in college - I remember for a period - I was dreaming in differentials and - I swear this is true - everything seemed to be made of numbers numbers numbers. I even wrote an English paper using calculus formulas...After the 2 calculus classes ended - I felt that I had returned from another reality. There is something about calculus and higher number thinking that I am positive creates- like totally new brain pathways in thinking.... Oh yes so cincinnursemary - I sympathize with you because I am not sure how statistics works out - but I guess you and the calculator are one for now -...sigh.
My first week in....... "the most important subject in the history of nursing since Florence Nightingale".......started off with a bang. ALL of the DB posts/replies are gone. The page is blanko!
yikes! It is all back now with a vengeance - suddenly a gazillion people posted today! For a while there it wouldn't even take my recent edit!!
And then something so totally nice - my TA answered really nicely to (well - 2 words or so might have been thank you) to someone who mentioned that the you tube stuff was not totally working (actually I think like 2 o3 are not working - let me see - um the Andy griffith, the Brady bunch did not work) on the question board.
