Family Nursing January

Starting this family nursing course in January and from what I hear this is going to be a hard course. I am looking for the support of my fellow class mates, or any hints from those who have previously taken the class. Thank You.

Are any of you doing a NANDA family nursing diagnosis? That was not clear on the directions. I don't like any of the NANDA diagnoses;-)

Just wondered since I got points deducted in the first assignment. I didn't use the exact family nsg dx from the book because I didn't like them ;-). Thanks.

Did anyone else get an announcement about this week's paper? I'm in section 049 here's what I got:

The directions say you need to identify 1 family goal & 1 nursing intervention,

in addition to answering the other questions listed.

This is unclear in the rubric. You only need 1 each.

Yes I did get that announcement , and I am only doing one goal and intervention!! If I get dinged I have the announcement to back me up

Be careful. it is very clear in the rubric that you need 3 or more goals and interventions. 1 family goal & 1 nursing intervention mean you need only 1 intervention for each goal. I clarified w/ my TA.

For my paper I went ahead and gave 3 goals with at least one intervention for each. I was able to get four pages without much fluff.

I'm done and off to Community Nursing next, followed by 4600. If anyone else is taking Community next, we should start a new thread for it.

Hey!

Has anyone had trouble submitting the module 5 paper in Blackboard?? I have been trying since 7pm and it keeps on freezing up! Several other people have posted that they are having the same trouble in my section (13) and we have had No response from our TA..kind of freaking out... any help???? So Frustrating!!
