Family Nurse Practitioner Program

Hello All,

Has anyone applied for the Family Nurse Practitioner Program for 2014? I am anxious and excited!

Did you look into Indiana State, University of Southern Indiana or Ball State University?

I did and am waiting to hear back from Ball University. The problem I am running into is that all the universities I am inquiring to are saying that they are in the process of obtaining approval and are trying to push me into applying and I a not comfortable with it. New York State Department is not very organized with listing the universities that are approved.

Last week was extremely hard for me. I was so close to calling and asking for an update too. I am praying we hear something soon. I will definitely keep you inform. We are in this together!!!

It is a torture. I believe that the earliest we will hear anything is March 1. So in a couple of weeks we will be taking about our letters and school choices. Hang on we are almost there.

I spoke with the nursing admission at University of Southern Indiana and she said we will hear something in March. I am still working on getting someone at Indiana State University. I will post when I do.

I was just informed that the committee will be meeting on Thursday at Indiana State University to make a decision regarding applicants acceptance into the graduate nursing program.
