Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?
Current students--What were your stats like?
Any information would be helpful =)
Thanks in advance!
If decisions were made, it should have been forwarded to Admissions; so that they can email us. It seems as though they are just falling behind the 8 Ball. I've contacted them literally, everyday for the past 2 weeks. Believe me, it's such a bad feeling to wait this long!
I got into University of Rochester ABSN/AMSN-FNP Program, Georgetown University, Bellarmine University, University of California, Los Angeles MESN. It's been a long year, I want the anxiety to be over with.
How about you guys?
WOWWW!!! CONGRATS Tedmannn!!! :) Those are awesome programs you got into!! I applied to about 5 different programs and haven't heard back from any yet. =( For some, I won't hear back until about June/July. So I am anxiously waiting for Western since it's the first school I'm going hear back from. Good luck to everyone else!! we're all in the same boat!
Congrats Ted, I also got into Bellarmine and Samuel Merrit's MSNE-FNP program. Western told us that this year the process is delayed because ti is their first time using the NursingCAS. Alot of people had alot of difficulty with that program. Samuel Merritt also used it for the first time this year too but they said it was their last.
Also, western tends to ask you questions that have no right or wrong answers but they seem to look for a "good" answer. Its hard to jusdge how we did because they were nodding and smiling and made everyone feel very confident. They were good at that.
Did everyone have a good interview at Western? I'm under the impression that everyone feels super good about their interview! Oh boy, I hope it wasn't a technique of their interviewers hahah.
I didn't feel SUPER good about my interview. After the interview when my nerves were gone, I think there were some answers that I could of elaborated on or said instead. Like sahar said... they nodded and smiled so it was hard to see if they liked the answers or not. actually one of my interviewers were more "readable" then the other so I was even more nervous.
