Hey everyone! I applied to UT houston and I'm waiting to hear if I got an interview. Applicants for years in the past started threads that everyone went to and kept everyone updated on information from the school, and it's nice to hear from possible (fingers crossed) other future classmates. If you don't mind, I'd also like to post our application info: GPA (science and overall), NET scores and experience.
My stats:
Overall GPA: 3.93
Science GPA: 3.75 (I think- UT link is down today :wink2:
NET: composite score was 88% (96 percentile)
I'm currently employed as a CNA in a hospital (only have about a month experience so far)
I can't access utlink either, but I know I appplied 2 weeks before the deadline. They were also having a problem getting electronic transcripts, so they extended the transcript deadline to Jan. 26. By that time everything was complete on my utlink. I'm confused because I haven't received a letter inviting me to an interview, and I thought anyone who met the minimum requirements would be invited to an interview (and my stats are much higher than the min. requirements). I called about two weeks ago, and they said they were still sending out letters. I do remember my UTlink saying something like "application status: A decision will be made based on application admissions committee". I got a letter a while back saying my application was received. I don't know if they are still sending out interview letters for the BSN generic or not. I called 2 weeks ago, and they were still sending out letters. My first choice is UTMB, but I would at least like to know I get an interview at UT-Houston.
I never recieved a letter stating they received my application- I just received the application letter. My ut link says the same thing as yours Bazooka. If you or N Howard calls to ask how much longer they will be sending out interview letters- would you please post it here? Thanks!
Its still over a month before they said they will begin notifying people of admission status, plus some people didn't receive much notice of when their interview was scheduled so you guys still have time to get something....
What does it say for your tsi exempt part of your utlink? I was told they get that information later. Ill have to call because something doesn't seem right to me. I'm so nervous now.
My TSI shows official document on file. I have been out of highschool for a while so when I started community college I had to take the test- they must have got the scores with my transcripts from college because I don't remember sending anything seperately. Hope this helps!
I received THREE letters from UT SON.... The first letter was a letter giving me my UTLINK password and ID. The second letter I received was a letter containing all my classes and some classes that I needed to take. The last letter I got was an Interview letter.
I called this morning and I asked if they were still having interviews past Feb 19th and she said possibly. She wouldn't tell me though if I had gotten an interview and they letter has arrived yet. I'm a little concerned though because my GPA and NET test scores were much higher than the minimum and people said they have been getting letters with a 3.7 GPA. So...I don't really know what to do.
My pre req gpa is 3.91 and my science gpa is 4.0 i only got a 80 on thhe net test though. I've been on the phone with them all morning asking questions. hopefully someone wil tell me something
