Hi all!
Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...
Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54
Science GPA: 3.67
HESI: 87.7
Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.
Did you also receive an e-mail @alexis0617?
Hey Pearl!
Yes I am applying for the Spring too.
I got into a Masters program at Columbia. I deferred my admissions til the fall of next year to give myself a few more attempts to get into nursing school since I've been working the last two years to make this happen. Looks like I have to wait a little longer but it's cool. I've jus tried to stop stressing about it. I'm sure they didn't admit me because of all my W's. I have some of the same stats as other people that were admitted. I have 8 W's but I've also been taking classes for 10 years and life happens. Not much I can do about it.

Yes, definitely! Just a small setback, you know? No biggie. Are you applying/have you already applied for Spring 2018, @jdskaggs88? I remember awhile back you mentioned something about you getting accepted into a graduate program. You definitely have great options ahead you!
