Hi all!
Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...
Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54
Science GPA: 3.67
HESI: 87.7
Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.
i may be just panicking lol but by where was the green check mark?so happy for the students that got accepted. I have a classmate that started this Monday for the spring so excited for people that are in!
I believe the green check mark is in your admission status and replaces the green circle that said complete.
What exact time was your email ? It's their first time doing it on a Tuesday i believe
I haven't seen any change in my status yet but congrats to those who were accepted today! If you take a look at the date people started receiving acceptances for the Fall 2016 forum, it was April 12, 2016 & that was a Tuesday!
Hi everyone my complete stats are as follows:
Overall GPA: 3.368 - 179 credit hours (I have a previous bachelor's degree in business)
Nursing prerequisite GPA : 3.620 - 58 credits - No C's (only had one class pending which I completed a few weeks ago)
Science GPA: 3.562 - All 16 credits completed only one B
I began college right out of high school (2010) and finished my degree in 2014. My transcript has 1 W, 2 F's and 3 C's
Hesi - Overall Hesi score of 92 with a 96 on A&P and 88 in Grammar.
I applied 3 weeks before the deadline and submitted my FAFSA a week after the deadline.
Demographics 27, male, Hispanic.
Employed all through out my academic career.
Congratulations to all of you guys who've been accepted so far!
I remember reading in the Summer thread that the first wave of acceptances came the first night (around 5:30) and the second wave started coming in between 9:30-10:30 the next morning. I'm not sure if this is a routine thing or not, but I bet more people will find out today. Yay!
