To the person who asked about the complete application notification:

I don't remember receiving an email confirmation that my application was complete but it did tell me after submitting it that it was successfully complete and submitted, because I remember taking a picture of it to send to a friend.

I'm getting more nervous every day about hearing from them! I really hope I get an interview!

I just received an email saying that they had all my materials and my application was complete. Also that they are beginning to review applications and will notify everyone by March 6th (someone else said that earlier in this post also).

They also said that the interviews will take place between March 16th and March 20th

Are any of you using the U of M's online interview workshop to prepare for interviewing?

I got the confirmation email too. Whew--I wasn't sure at first if it was an early notification that I wasn't getting an interview.

Thanks for the tip, AlexisLehrer--I wasn't aware of the online interview workshop. I have been planning on coming up with some responses to a range of possible questions and rehearsing on my own. Assuming I get an interview, it'll be right after we spend a week on vacation so I hope I am relaxed and in good shape, if nerves don't kill the vacation for me.

I thought the confirmation email was early rejection too! I was so nervous to open it .

I wasn't aware of the online interview workshop either. Next Friday cannot come soon enough I am already freaking out.

I was going to wait to find out if I got an interview before exploring more about the online workshop, but I have been thinking of questions they might ask and how I would answer some of them! I'm trying not to stress about it until next Friday. I'm not going to do myself any good by stressing about it before I even find out if I get an interview!
