Fall 2011 TCU hopefuls

Is anyone else applying to TCU for next fall? I'm just waiting on my final grades from this semester at my CC before I mail my application. I still have to take A&P 2 and Micro in the spring, but I got a 91.86 on my HESI. I'm really anxious to just get my stuff in the mail already!

Ok so just spoke to Nursing Department. If u turned in ya application, hesi scores , resume, and unofficial transcripts these are the people who willbr able to process in admission. Then nursing will decide who they want there I'd no interview for the program that is goodm. Again good luck to everyone now it is wait time which will b April before we know.

What does that mean "the people who will be able to process in admission" ?

And I didn't know there was an interview for the undergraduate program!

He said that everyone that had turned all their info in to the nursing department those r the names they will send to admission for them to be admitted to the college. I just asked if we had to interview and he stated there is not one. They will let them know who they r interested in!!!!

Decisions will not be out until April 15th or so. I know this because I have applied for both TCU's accelerated program, which starts in May and for the Fall 2011 traditional program. For the Accelerated program we do not know yet and we were supposed to find out mid February. If they say April 15th, they mean April 15th not any sooner. Also, if anyone else reading this is going for the accelerated program, I would love to hear. Good luck to all of you!!

Oh, and I did not get my acceptance packet into the college until last week and I applied back in October. Just giving you a little time line so you are not going crazy waiting. I know it is nerve racking, but anxiously checking the mail everyday is not going to help the nerves. The best thing to do is put it on the back burner until around the time when you know the letters will be going out. It is less stressful that way, believe me! :heartbeat

Here is update talked to Joan in admission and she told me that they will work applications at end of March but the nursing department will let them know mid March of the ones that they r interested in.

Spoke with office of admission and was told they already had a list from the nursing depardepartment. Then spoke with an advisor and said the list they have is not official. So who knows. Has anyone heard anything?

I received an email today from TCU stating that my application is under review and they will let me know at the end of March. That is only to the University.

Today when I called admissions I was informed that I was not on the list and that I should call Justin and check on my application. After I spoke with him he said he had not printed my Hesii scores then called admission and had them add me. Justin also advised me they did not have an official list. Then I called admissions again and the lady who answered confirmed he had called up there to add me to the list. She said decisions will be made at the end of March.
