Fall 2014 SSC/UCF Concurrent Program

Alright, I know it's early but...who is planning on applying to the Fall 2014 SSC/UCF Concurrent program? I just finished my prerequisites today and I'm so excited to get going. I am planning on taking the TEAS for the first time in January so hopefully I'll do well.

One question I have is what should I do during the spring semester? I completed my AA degree as of today but unfortunately, my family kind of relies on my FA money to get by. I'm wondering if there is an AS degree I can enroll in so that I'm still eligible for FA until the nursing program starts. I saw something for Health Information Technology that might work. Anyway, just thought I'd see who else is applying and if anyone else is in the same financial situation as me.

A little late in posting, but now that I'm not bouncing off the walls i can say...I got my acceptance emails today too. So very happy and excited and looking forward to meeting you all!

Do we have to send a form to UCF to RSVP? or do we just reply stating that we will be taking the seat?

I am unaware of a form for UCF. I think we are supposed to just reply to that email and tell them that we are taking the seat.

There is a link attached at the top of the page of your Seminole State requirements page (sent as an attachment w/ your acceptance letter) . If you follow that link it will tell you everything, including cost.

Yes, but when you do click it, it opens up a page that lists the prices. It is $60 for finger printing, $47 for drug screen and $15 for background check.

I was looking at the uniforms online but does anyone know what's required for shoes other than being white?

Personally, I am kind of hoping a good pair of white Nikes with good tread will do.

I received both my acceptance letters also. Congrats to everyone that got in. I'm so excited to start the program, but nervous at the same time lol. My baby girl will be born in August also! See y'all in June.
