Fall 2014 SSC/UCF Concurrent Program

Published

Alright, I know it's early but...who is planning on applying to the Fall 2014 SSC/UCF Concurrent program? I just finished my prerequisites today and I'm so excited to get going. I am planning on taking the TEAS for the first time in January so hopefully I'll do well.

One question I have is what should I do during the spring semester? I completed my AA degree as of today but unfortunately, my family kind of relies on my FA money to get by. I'm wondering if there is an AS degree I can enroll in so that I'm still eligible for FA until the nursing program starts. I saw something for Health Information Technology that might work. Anyway, just thought I'd see who else is applying and if anyone else is in the same financial situation as me.

I hope to get to know some of you soon!

I emailed them, but they wouldnt tell me what number on the list I am. Which is frustrating. What number did you call?

Hello all,, Congratulations to all that have been accepted. I have completed my AA and prerequisites in fall 2012 with a recalculated GPA of 3.9 BUT only got 74 on Teas.So I could only apply for Seminole State Generic Associates. I just found out that I am 6th on Alternate list. I called today and asked what my chances were getting in and she said "HIGH". Apparently they are waiting on approval to open up a few more seats? Will know within the next couple weeks!!! Hope to see you all in the FALL!

Yeah the TEAS test was difficult the first time also because I've been out of school since 2012. The second time my score was only 80%. For some reason the grammar section gave me problems. The science part was a breeze. Good luck to everyone!

What number did you call to get your spot on the waitlist?

I called 407-404-6006. Altamonte campus. I hope they don't drag this out too long!!:sarcastic::no:

Does anyone know the deadline of to claim your spot?

The deadline was last Friday the 2nd.

They give you a week from the day they email your acceptance letter

Has anyone got accepted from the waiting list?

not yet,, still waiting, ...since they seem to email out on Fridays.. I'm hoping this Friday (fingers crossed)

I know that they contacted some of the alternates today ( I saw on FB). Good luck ! Don't give up! I have heard of students finding out a couple weeks before the program started that they got in.

yeah I finally got accepted!! Stay hopeful alternates!! See all of you at orientation!
