Fall 2020 Piedmont RN Residency

Hi everyone!

I was hoping to get to know some people who are applying/ accepted offers at Piedmont for the fall new grad program in Atlanta. I had an interview with them two days ago and was offered a few of the cardiac progressive care units. Woohoo! I am from Colorado and will be moving to Atlanta in September before the residency program starts.

Hi! I applied but haven't heard back yet. How long did it take them to get back to you?

I applied to the Summer residency and they got back to me pretty quick within the week.

It took them a little bit like 3 weeks I think! Once they did and I had a call with the recruiter I had to follow up about an interview because I hadn’t heard anything.
she did say they were busy right now getting everything set for the Summer cohort to start so that might be why?

I have applied and within a week I got my phone interview. The persons that I spoke with, told me that I was going to get another interview within a week but she never called me back to schedule the second interview. Now is being almost a month and I haven’t heard back from. I have call and email the person to see the status of my application but no luck. I have hope but I’m getting very concern because I will be done with school in 8 weeks and I don’t have a job yet ?

Hello Tzapp87, when you get off orientation maybe a month or two can you please share in a post or PM to me about your experience?

I'd be interested in knowing how orientation is also.  This is an area I'm considering.  Thank you and congratulations!

Does anyone know what residency schedule is like for Piedmont? Are we in the classroom everyday? Or are we there 3 days and doing 12hr shifts (class and clinical)?
