Fall 09 - North Lake \ El Centro - Email from Kanora?

Has anyone received an email yet about the fingerprinting and other information from Kanora Jackson?

At the orientation in June at North Lake she said to keep an eye out for emails from them this summer. I think just with some extra information and steps to get fingerprints and drug testing done before we start in the Fall.

The SNA sell the stethoscopes for $50...no tax. They are really good. We are not able to have the sell for some long reason this semester..but you might still be able to buy it from SNA. If you will email at [email protected], I will check with Mrs. E. and find out.

My goodness.....has anyone looked at ecampus lately? This stuff is overwhelming! I don't even know where to begin! Anyone wanna partner up with me and study?! I'm gonna need a study buddy! I live in Garland so if anyone is down, PM me! I'm at NL by the way....

I agree there is so much on ecampus, and I am wondering if we need to bring any of the documents that require signatures to the orientation next week

There's definitely stuff that needs signatures but most of it seems to be left over from the Spring 09 classes. For instance, under RNSG 1423, Course Documents, the first thing is "ADN Forms" and it's a form we sign that says we will obey policies about 16 different things, and we have to initial eack of them...

I don't know when we need to do that, but for Spring, the announcement to do it was posted in January ...

I don't know about you, but I plan on going home each night after orientation, so I figure if we need a form, they'll tell us on Tuesday, and I can bring it Wednesday!

I am obsessing about this stuff way too much!

Try not to think about everything that is there. Looking at it all at once is a lot to see. Once we start and we get our feet wet, we will find our balance. Just remember one chapter, lesson and day at a time.

After reading through your msg, I got online to check my ecampus but found no updates or sort. do i need to join any group (such as SNA) before I can receive infos like this from Kanora. Or is it because I'll be attending NLC and NOT ELC.

I don't know. I haven't joined SNA :-)

There are different COMMUNITIES on ecampus for ECC and Brookhaven, but I would think NLC and ECC would be pretty much the same and NLC people would have access to the ECC document ...........

is anyone on here going to NL that has been able to pull up the 1460 website for those forms we are supposed to bring Wednesday? Mine is still empty and I thought it was cuz school hasn't started but it should've been up by today. The only thing i can find that they are asking for was the Grades Release Form and my Insurance Fee Receipt. I can't find the immunization release either. Anyone?!

Go where it says My Organizations in Ecampus. Then click on ECC AD-Nursing, then click under 1423/J1 and start checking it out since you will get crazy with all the forms you will find. They are all together the forms from El Centro and from NLC, good luck! :yeah:

yes but thats the thing. on my left hand column under nursing handbook it has 2504/J2....i dont see J1
