I wanted to start a thread for the Nursing Program at Motlow Fall 2017?

Where does everybody stand?

What are the new requirements meaning for the Program? Does this mean less applicants this year?

I've also heard that it takes way longer than what they say lol... I'm not getting my hopes up for anything happening before May. And if so... nice surprise!

Also , the dean of nursing mentioned that the quality points are not consider part of of overall total points possible . They're your extra credit points . So if some you got a95 and 4.0, that together is your overall .

But, they are still "extra credit". Don't they still factor into your score? I have a 4.0 and HESI 85.9 and 50 quality points. I would like Smyrna, but I'll take anything! Plus, I think everyone has to go to the main campus at least 2 times a week anyway. Good luck everyone!

The "extra credit" still counts for the point system. Its not just the hesi score and gpa. Im hoping to get in the main campus but my 2nd choice is Mcminnville. Good luck everyone !! Not to long to go now !

Yeah, it doesn't make sense that they would offer "quality points" and not count them. I copied this from the webpage: Quality Points: Quality points will be added to the students' points if the course has been completed by the end of the fall semester prior to admission to the Nursing Program.

BIOL 2010 with a grade of A or B -: + 25 points (must meet currency requirement)

ENGL 1010 with a grade of A or B -: + 25 points

MATH 1530 with a grade of A or B -: + 25 points

So, are any if you guys going to have to work while in the 2 year program ? I was wondering if it can be done while also actually passing...if so would working at night (2nd shift) or weekends be more realistic.
