Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!
Hi everyone. Do you think that everyone with a minimum score of 7 and above would most likely get accepted to Lonestar North Harris because i heard that even people with a 6.8 were getting accepted and/or getting put on the alternates list. I have a solid 7.376 do you think i have a fair chance?

From looking at the older forums I seen people get accepted with a score lower then yours . You have a fair chance.

Oh i think it’s varies! From last year forum they got them in waves at different hours
but you aren’t the only checking every hour lol

I started before because I knew I would get in somewhere lol and the Lonestar website tells you what you need ??♀️ but the titers are good for 3 years so they won't expire by the time you guys are done with the program. Basic CPR certification, I can understand wanting to wait on that since it expires every 2 years however, you're always gonna need it for as long as you're practicing as an RN so it should be no big deal to renew when it's time. Plus you got the plug ?. If you're getting the TB skin test rather than the PPD blood draw then yes wait on that it expires every 6 months to 1 year. It's not going to matter if you guys start them now or when you get the letters really. But if you want to be safe and sure it's what you need then yes, wait.
