Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Things we can do before letters are sent out: AHA CPR/BLS certification, continue working and saving money for during the program, relax and enjoy the time not stressing about intense nursing program deadlines, study and refresh, pray, meditate, yoga, exercise, eat healthy, prepare our minds and bodies for the rigour of the nursing program. Goodluck to all! I think I'm off this forum for a while ? Everyone will end up where they are meant to, if this program doesn't work out, you can always complete core and then go straight for a BSN! Everything happens for a reason. ???

Today was the day we thought we’d get our letters. :( Hopefully we get them within 2 weeks.

I hope everybody had a good Easter! Im a realist so I’m going to stick with mid May for now that would make it about 2-3 weeks from now. Think of this as an exercise that teaches us patience. Every nurse must have patience right? ?

Definitely teaching us patience! But it might be sooner since the transition student already received their letters! I’m a optimist when it comes to things like this!

Yes their application closes before our and they got their letters on April 1st and they Application close late March

Hello, Just found this forum today. I applied last semester and the deadline was 9/7/2018. Everyone I knew who applied received a letter by email on 9/24/2019 acceptance and denials. I did not get accepted last semester bc I had a score of 6.6. I had B's in both English and AP. I currently now have a 7.6 and applied to CF, M, T, and NH in that order. Hoping to hear good news by Monday 4/29/2019. Good Luck everybody.
