Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

cy fair and tomball have definitely told me april specifically by the 19th as well....its so stressful!!!

How does someone at Montgomery say we should start checking emails now, and someone also from Montgomery say we wont know until May. ?

I give up. Maybe they tell someone something different every time someone calls so we can't hold them to one date. Clever.

Just spoke with Cy fair nursing coordinator and she said its not probable that we would hear something by this Friday, and the company system that they use hasnt given them a date yet that acceptance letters will be sent out. She just said to keep checking your emails, and that she doesn't know why montgomery is reflecting june because they all have the same app period.

OK so this week is probably out. Let's hope next week. That gives me some comfort. Is there a grace period for responding to your acceptance letter?

Lol okay.. Just spoke with the Nursing Director at Tomball (you can tell people have been calling her with this) and she said there has been a staffing change at the system office that's beyond their control and it will probably be mid may-June that they get the list back and then it takes the campus' 2-3 days to get everything ready to send out. But she is hoping it will be before June, and she said nobody has ever said April 19th (although I know a few of us including myself have been given that date)

So i just spoke to North Harris Advisor said she has no ideas why Montgomery or Tomball are saying May/June because she is not aware of any changes happening! She did take my information and said she will call back once she looks into it but she isn’t aware of the dates changing from April to May/June! Will keep you posted

Update: Spoke to North Harris and they are going through staffing changes and saying they are thinking around Juneish but hoping for sooner and to keep checking email for letters because it can be before June
