Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Tomball sent this email when I asked if she could clarify the date comfusion....

Unfortunately no as System Office handles compiling for each of the 4 campuses. It will depend on when we all get them

Also, she said the spreadsheet automatically separates the highest scoring by their first choices and thats how the choosing is done. She also said she doesn't know why Montgomery is reflecting June. She took my info and is going to call me back after she speaks with the director of nursing for that campus and gets a more accurate date/info. I will let yall know as soon as i know!

What I don’t understand is the lady that said “in her experience... May”. But it literally was April last year. Sounds to me that she doesn’t know what she’s talking about.

After reading And speaking to the advisors it seem like now everyone is getting the same information! The are going through staff changes and it could be June when we hear back but they are hoping it is sooner! So basically we are just sitting and waiting until....idk.....!

Not to call anyone out specifically, but Ima put this out there since we are getting wildly different information: On a previous UTH or UTMB forum on this website, someone started commenting false things just to troll. Saying they got their acceptance letter super early and whatnot.

I know we wanna trust everyone on here, and maybe everyone is telling the truth and Lone Star has just lost their minds this cycle. But I’m just saying to take this forum with a grain of salt!

Definitely would understand!! Only thing is 3+ people are stating the same information from advisors!

But definitely get it because my nervous are shot and my stress level are through out the roof now

OMG So we should all call ourselves. HAhahaha. Ok. I'm officially done. I'm just going to exit and wait patiently for my letter.

If someone has that much time on their hands, I say wow! I am just ready to find out if I got in or not and hope that all the schools get on the same page.

I feel the same way! Which is why I mentioned earlier in the forum that I doubt we’ll get them on the 19th because acceptance letters for the spring cohort came way later than only a week.

I guess i should finish all my paper work for the LVN program since it might take longer than expected. Don’t wanna miss the deadline on that waiting to hear about the ADN program.
