Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I think it was something like

7.696, M, T, NH but honestly not entirely sure. REALLY hoping to get into Montgomery because of the proximity to my home and daycare, plus its my home campus. THESE ARE SOME BAD A** SCORES THOUGH! DANG! I'm very nervous now.

A 7.696 is a really good score! Definitely should get you into Montgomery

During orientation they will give you all that information which gives you a little time to get the books/scrubs that are required.

So is it actually Monday-Friday 8-5 for the first 3 weeks like it said on the the website?

Very curious about this also. And typically how long after app deadline will we hear about acceptance?

We are guessing by the 19th because past forum showed one week after deadlines! But next weekend is a holiday so we are prayer for the acceptance laters to come sooner but we are prepared to wait longer lol

Did anyone ever call and ask Montgomery if it's just some type of error/glitch that it says the notifications won't go out until June? I am stressing lol

I didn’t talk to Montgomery but i talked to North Harris and was told that we can hear anything at anytime after deadline! She said she doesn’t know why we are being told the 19th because it says anytime in April we can get our letters

Where did you read this? Got a link? Every page I have read says that notifications will be sent out in april, and that if you have not heard within one month (so, may) to call the nursing department of your first choice school. Were you possibly looking at a different program like LVN or transition? Idk their dates, but I do believe that the application deadlines/ notification letter info was different than ours.

I wonder if 400 applicants have called wondering when their acceptance letter will be in their email. ? I know I am wanting to hear back just to that I can relax. I personally don't think it will take that long. I remember her specifically saying in the informational session, within a week we should know.
