Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Published

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I just emailed to see if it was possible and she wrote back and said she posted my app as unsubmitted so I could make necessary changes. So I derailed them and resubmitted this morning. Everything else stayed the same. I got confirmation that I had resubmitted successfully. What are your ranking now and what are you wanting to change them to?

NH,CF,T,M I’m thinking about just switch cf and t as well

Question??? I applied April 3rd and received an email confirmation that my application had been received. I looked at my application and now there is a submit button and a statement to submit the application before the deadline. Is this normal? After I submitted the application, there was no submit button. I don't know if I am just being nervous with the deadline so close.

If you received an email confirmation, then you should be okay. I would call them to make sure.

I agree you should call them and verify. Better safe than sorry.

It sounds like your Application was un-submitted for some reason! I would definitely call to see what’s going on!

What time on friday does the application close?

We are literally down to two day until the application closes! I’m sure i will be going mental next week waiting in the emails!!! I won’t be able to concentrate on anything but my emails!!

Ooooh I remember being this anxious! This is my second semester at Lonestar North Harris and it has been a ride. I’m loving it, but it is a lot of work. Feel free to ask me any questions that you may have and what to expect upon entering the program! Good Luck everyone and don’t give up if nursing is your passion.

I have a question, around how much is the health insurance and malpractice/liability insurance that is required upon entering the program-per post-admission requirements(I want to know just in case I do get accepted ?). And thanks in advance, for coming and giving us an opportunity to ask questions.

Hey thanks for letting us pick your brain. What do North Harris do for orientation? what are the hospitals North Harris use for clinicals and how are the students selected since there are 120 that get selected. Why are the times for lecture classes ? I know i asked a lot lol sorry...

So North Harris RN program didn’t require me to show proof of any insurance. I believe it’s covered by the school from what I was told.
