Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Orientation is great! It briefs you on what to expect from the program and what they require from you as the student. You will go over a PowerPoint and they will answer any questions that you may have. So the hospitals switch up every semester but you will get a lot of great hospitals like HNW & Memorial Hermann. I believe they go by the grade point scale! The higher your score, the higher your chances are of getting accepted. Lecture hours are mostly mornings to afternoon(1100-1400), but that could change also

Are you able to ever request a weekend clinical? Or can you switch with another student?

At least the deadline for some of yall is tomorrow. I'm applying LVN only for Montgomery campus so I was told late May early June acceptance letters will go out. I'm on here just to see yall get your acceptance letters and then know it will be my turn ?

So they will have options for you to choose from and you can choose what top 3 works best for you. So if weekend clinical is an option you might get it and then you might not! It’s up to the school and the hospital but majority of the time you will get your 1st choice.

I unfortunately cannot remember my exact score or the order of which I applied to my top pics.

I think it was something like

7.696, M, T, NH but honestly not entirely sure. REALLY hoping to get into Montgomery because of the proximity to my home and daycare, plus its my home campus. THESE ARE SOME BAD A** SCORES THOUGH! DANG! I'm very nervous now.
