Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

You can always just do the LVN and then finish that and do the bridge to ADN --OR-- BSN which might be better and give you and edge when applying to a BSN program.

That’s true but then i would have to retake the hesi... i was hoping to do it all at once without retaking the hesi lol

You will know so much more after you complete the LVN course it wouldn't be that bad!

I had a 7.376 when I applied last semester. I believe the cut off was a 7.5 and it was the highest cut off the program has had. The past years have been around a 7.1-7.3. I believe it’s getting more competitive.

Spring semester applications always have a higher cut off rate because only two campuses have enrollment for the spring verses 4 in the Fall

Everyday i get on here hoping and praying that when i log on here I’ll see people saying they got emails!!!

When noon comes I always feel sad. LOL. Has anyone spoke to them since last week? It was only last Monday when Tomball applicants got those letters. I feel like there should be weekly updates.

Thursday is when i talked to NH advisor and she said June and that things are out of their hands
