Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Has anyone that’s taking Pharmacology this summer started getting the textbooks for the class?

This is why the coordinators are stressed and drained. This is a going to be a real ripple effect ?.

I did, but only because my professor already emailed the class and said we need to get a head start on reading

I definitely agree, its going to a very bad look if that happen. I just don't wanna lose money if i have to drop out the lvn program for the rn program because i pay out of pocket. Well good thing is, i"ll have all my or most of my checklist done already if i get in the rn program

That’s definitely a silver lining for you! You won’t be running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off like we will! I definitely feel for the staff at the school because I’m sure they are just as stress as us at this point

I just finished the course at NH and my prof was straight up with me when I asked her about the books and she said she feels like the pharmacology one we are most likely never gonna use again so I rented it on amazon for like $15 and I bought a used math one for $40 on Amazon as well and ended up buying the new Davis drug book because that one you can always use. That’s all. And I did end up using them all just FYI

Yea i just rented my text book for Chegg because amazon was all sold out for rentals it was like 20$ and the Dosage calculation books is like 15$ on amazon
